Legend of Zelda – Moblins Magic Spear Video

zeldammsThe classic childrens book entitled “Molblin’s Magic Spear” (1989 Nintendo) has made it’s way to being ported into not only a video narration, but also into a homebrew DS port. They used music from “The Legend of Zelda – Ocarina of Time” to go along with the narration. You can download the DS video from Multiple-Option. View the video below!

    Well first of all, it’s “rupees” not “rubies.” Love that.

    “Moblin?! I’ve heard of HIM. That’s one of Ganon’s followers!” Hilarious, like there’s only the ONE Moblin. Let’s not even consider blue AND red Moblins.

    Ganon’s drawn exactly as he was in the animated series, though it looks like he’s lost a little weight. Good for you, Ganon. Way to Jazzercise them pounds away!

    The Magic Shield swallowed the Moblin’s spear? Is that right? I’ve played LoZ a many of times and I don’t recall if when a Moblin threw a spear, and you were using the Magic Shield, that it actually stopped the Moblin from throwing anymore spears… part of the children’s book, or did I actually miss that from the game?

    Well Gravity, of course it is rupees. This book spelled all that incorrectly thanks to NoA (its also Moblin, not Molblin).

    And the magic shield thing was just something they threw in there themselves.

    That would have been pretty cool though if that were true about Moblins in the original LoZ game. Magic Shield reflection? No more spears. Guess the writer of that book just took his own liberties in changing things around.
