Nintendo of America revealed a few details concerning “The Legend of Zelda : Spirit Tracks”. They inform us that the story takes place about a century after the events of Phantom Hourglass (and that it will be a new Link). They also mention that exploration will be a big part of the game and that Link will eventually be able to lay down his own tracks. You will also be able to upgrade your train. View the video that revealed this below.
And on a side note, the next issue of Nintendo Power will feature an extensive blow out article for Spirit Tracks. You can view the teaser scan to the right.
The European box art for Spirit Tracks has also been revealed. This one is actually much better than what we saw for the domestic version. We see Link and Zelda riding a train with some new artwork in the background. You can view this new box art at the left.

I wonder if laying down new tracks and “exploring” is essential, or if Link will just be able to walk to those places normally at the cost of it taking longer to get there.
