A trailer has leaked today showing off a new version of Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. It is currently uncertain if this is just a fan created project or the real deal. The graphics in this trailer are very high quality and looks to be a total remake of the game. If it is indeed fan made then props to whoever made it, but it does make one speculate however. Could it be real? It leaked during E3 2012 and all… You be the judge and watch this amazing trailer for Majora’s Mask!

Here’s another round of Zelda rumors for E3 2012. A few days ago Nintendo hinted at three Wii U launch titles via a hidden “scratch off” text (shown here). Pikmin 3 by Nintendo

Only time will tell, E3 is only one day away! Thoughts?
Rumor – A New Zelda Will be Announced at E3
Oh Zelda Informer and their rumors, anyways here’s one that isn’t surprising at all. Apparently an anonymous tipster has sent in an “insider” piece of information stating that we will indeed see a new Legend of Zelda title at this year’s E3 conference (which starts next week). Not only that, we will see a trailer showcasing the game as well, but no specific platform was stated in which the game would appear on. In the end, it’s only a rumor and a fake one at that. But that doesn’t exactly mean we won’t see Zelda this year, thoughts? Would you prefer a 3DS Zelda or Wii U Zelda reveal?

Skyward Sword Rumors – End Revealed, The Triforce, Dark Link and Volvagia?
Reports from several sites are coming in about major possible spoilers from Skyward Sword that originated from 4chan via a member that has claimed to received a press copy of the game. So before you read any of these, just know that they are rumor, but there is a chance these could be true so only read if you do not mind spoiling the game for yourself. These rumors give away a lot of major plot details and twists, a lot of which is “too good to be true”. If you wish, judge these rumors for yourself!
Because of Zelda’s actions in this game, it is her fault as to why it is always destined to have a new Link, Zelda and Ganondorf (or other evil) show up in all Zelda games.
The way it works is- There is a Priestess Ritual. The Priestess must sacrifice herself to the holy power (Triforce) in order to reseal all of the evil (monsters, The Imprisoned, etc.). In exchange however, she gets one wish from the holy power (the Triforce). She wishes for her and Link to be together throughout eternity. That even if Fate rips them apart, they will be born again so that they can be together again. She wishes for fate to always twist their destinies so that they will always meet each other in all their future lives. This is why Ganondorf exists, and I guess this is also why he just randomly gets the Triforce in Twilight Princess as a “divine prank”. It is all Zelda’s fault- her wish constantly reincarnates her and Link, and the destiny twist to ensure they always meet is represented by Ganondorf.
- Best sidequests for a Zelda game since Majora’s Mask.
- Ghirahim is only trying to bring his master back to life to obtain powers.
- Third battle with Ghirahim is said to be the hardest 3D Zelda boss battle.
- Second quest confirmed.
- Ghirahim is in possession of the three Triforce pieces (power, wisdom and courage), but Zelda has the true spirit of the Triforce within her.
- Fi will become sealed into the Master Sword at the end.
- Zelda dies and sacrifices herself to save everyone and becomes the spirit of the Triforce.
- Zelda’s ancestor was the Goddess everyone worshiped and the original holder of the Triforce.
- To forge the sword into the Master Sword, Link must acquire the remains of the three original Goddesses (Farore, Din Nayru?).
- Zora’s Domain is in the game, but frozen…what’s new huh.
- 11 Dungeons…6 main ones, 2 side dungeons and 3 revisited.
- Classic enemies such as Darknuts and Wizzrobes make a return.
- The origin of the Kokiri is explained.
- Volvagia will be the boss of the Fire Sanctuary.
- Dark Link makes a return, but his role is unknown at this point.
Rumor – Steal Weapons in Skyward Sword *Update*
The Wind Waker allowed Link to not only steal items from his enemies, but their weapons as well. And now it would seem that Link would be capable of doing the same in Zelda: Skyward Sword. Go Nintendo reports that new information from latest issue of Famitsu reports this new aspect to the game, although there is no concrete evidence yet as there are no scans available at the moment. So, take this as rumor for now, but expect to hear more on this plus plenty of new Skyward Sword details very soon!
Update: There is one other detail from this source that suggests a new area revealed entitled, Lake Faroria.
Update 2: The Lake is actually called Lake Floria.
Update 3: Stealing weapons has been confirmed, check out Link using a two-handed sword he stole from the boss from the Ancient Cistern temple below.
Here’s an exact quote of what Go Nintendo had to say…
Remember how you could steal an enemy’s sword in Wind Waker? We’re hearing that this element will return for Skyward Sword. The information is said to come from the latest issue of Famitsu, but we’ve yet to see any screen/scans/pics that confirm this aspect. Consider this rumor for now.

We will keep you informed if we receive any information on the matter. And while we are on the subject, are there any other aspects from The Wind Waker that you’d like to see make a return? Discuss in the comments below.
Skyward Sword Rumors – Ganon’s Trident, the Triforce and More
Zelda Informer has posted up a few little new tidbits that are claimed to only be rumor at this point as their source is not credible. So, for that matter no one should take the following information as fact and treat it as only rumor for the time being until we learn more about Skyward Sword. Anyways, someone has sent in some inside info from N-Zone magazine (a German publication). Read what they had to say below.
- The “ultimate” power refered to in the intro video we posted is in fact the Triforce.
- The Goddess saved the chosen people of Hyrule by raising an island to the sky, Skyloft.
- The Goddess left behind the magic Harp and Goddess sword to help protect the Triforce.
- The Hylian leaders used the Triforce to seal the leader of the demons.
- Several arrow types: Wind arrows, ice arrow, fire arrow and bomb arrows.
- Items upgrade in stages.
- A mirror attachment for the Beetle to reflect light.
- A rainbow themed torch to project different colors of light used for puzzles.
- Ghirahim wishes to use zelda and her harp to break the seal, then finds out he needs the Goddess Sword as well.
- The Master Sword breaks the seal of the demon king, at which point Ghirahim fades into the sky as the three points on his cape turn into a trident. The demon king grabs the Trident and vanishes.
Possible Zelda Skyward Sword Overworld Music
Our friends over at Zelda Informer have claimed to get their hands on a demo piece of supposed Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword music. This piece sounds very familiar to the Hyrule Field music from Ocarina of Time, hence why we suggest it could be from the overworld theme. Not only that, but it is also claimed to be orchestrated, but only take this clip and rumor with a grain of salt. Listen to the clip below, thanks to ZI.

Zelda Skyward Sword to Release This Year?
Yahoo Games has suggested that Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword will release this holiday season. They have not provided a proper source where this information came from and we were all informed at E3 that we would not see this game until 2011. So I would only take this as a rumor for now until we get any kind of confirmation from Nintendo.
Link’s look is always a source of concern for Zelda fans. Will he be too old? Too young? Too cel-shaded? Too realistic? Regardless of the controversies, his games always turn out terrific, which is exactly what we expect of his next effort, Skyward Sword, when it ships this holiday season.
Skyward Sword Made for the Core Zelda Fan?
Well at least it is according to the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Nintendo, Cammie Dunaway. Now it’s obvious that it’s her job to persuade potential customers into buying Nintendo products, in this case The Legend of Zelda. But to go so far as to say that Zelda: Skyward Sword is for the “core” Zelda fan is teasing quite a bit to every fan. I have my own personal opinions that lean towards this Zelda title going back to the series’ roots and hopefully providing the veteran fan that certain nostalgia feeling yet surprising us with new twists at the same time. I mean, it has already impressed me by re-introducing the sword beam attack in a new and fresh way.
Zelda Wii Teaser Trailer Shown at E3 2010
Update : Although the game was not shown on the first day of E3 and initial reports turned out to be a hoax, The Legend of Zelda : Skyward Sword (Zelda Wii) was revealed and the game does use cel-shaded graphics.
Numerous reports have been hitting online today during the E3 2010 conference saying a small teaser was shown of Legend of Zelda Wii to prepare for tomorrow. Reports suggest the game will be cel-shaded (very similar to The Wind Waker) and had Link wielding an unknown blade. The video also showed Shigeru Miyamoto playing this new Zelda title with the Wii Motion Plus.
However I have been unable to find footage of this myself and am only going by online reports (such as Hyrule.net). If anyone can shed some light on this, please do so in the comments. So for now, take it as rumor until we get official confirmation tomorrow when Nintendo presents Zelda Wii.
More Legend of Zelda Wii Rumors (Update)
Update: Zelda Informer is now claiming that these new details (below) are confirmed to be true. We’ll find out on June 15th.
Our affiliate, Zelda Informer, has yet again posted some supposed leaked Legend of Zelda Wii details. They claim these come from a random German forum which they will source at a later time. It is also said that these details originated from Eiji Aonuma’s E3 plan for the revealing of Zelda Wii. So as usual, take them as a rumor for now until we get any sort of confirmation at E3 in a few days.
Zelda Wii’s official title is “The Legend of Zelda”. There will be no subtitle.
The game tells a story several hundred years before Ocarina of Time.It also answers the question of how the Mastersword came into being.
