Quick Update on Site News

Sunday, August 1st, 2010

I would first like to apologize for the recent lack of both site and video updates. I have been rather busy with stuff outside Zelda Chronicles and the reason we have not been able to provide a video update in the last few months is due to Majora having constant computer problems. So I am not entirely sure if the video updates will return or not, hopefully he will bring some light to this very soon.

Secondly, part of me being busy meant I have been at work on a new layout. I am not 100% sure when it will be launched, but fairly soon nonetheless. I am not going to reveal what I am planning exactly but it does involve a lot more interactivity within the site. ZC will still focus on Zelda news, but it will not be it’s primary focus like it is now. I have a lot of new additions planned for the site that I hope to reveal very soon.

On a side note, we are looking for site artists. If anyone is interested at all, please e-mail me at thezeldachronicles@gmail.com. Provide an example of your work if you can and from there we will discuss what exactly we need for the site.

E3 2010: Let the Countdown Begin

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

Today is June 8th, 2010. In exactly one week Nintendo will take the stage at E3 and unveil not only their new portable console (the 3DS) and the Wii vitality sensor, but also their mysterious new MotionPlus-exclusive Zelda game for Wii.

As one more (and probably last) reminder, Nintendo’s media briefing is June 15th at 9:00 a.m. PT. That’s pacific time, so click here to find out exactly when that is in your time zone.

You don’t need to be at E3 in person to experience Nintendo’s announcements as they happen, because Nintendo has setup an official website where you can watch the show live. Just visit http://e3.nintendo.com on June 15th at 9 am PT and you’re good to go! Of course we’ll be reporting all the Zelda news as soon as possible with our own reactions too, so don’t forget to visit Zelda Chronicles that day as well.

To pass the time until some big E3 news or leaks, here’s a few Zelda related news stories from the past week that we didn’t think warranted a full separate post:

In addition, we’re finally adding content to a lot of our pages (found in the sidebar) like game manual scans, wallpapers, game info and much more. We plan on constantly updating these pages so check them out regularly. Also, just as a reminder, our second “Video Update” should be up on schedule tomorrow night.
