Aside from the Sword and Shield, several other items in Link’s arsenal can be upgraded as well. Check out our guide below to learn how to obtain each item and how to upgrade them. Most items will require to be upgraded at the Scrap Shop while others are found during your quest. Therefore you will need to hunt down certain collectibles that is required to upgrade the item, which will be listed below.

The Beetle

The Beetle is basically a replacement for the boomerang and hookshot (although the double clawshots have returned). This new item can be found in the Skyview Temple by defeating the Stalfos mini boss. This item will be used for numerous puzzles.
